The Station announces SOHO Fest shows in Springfield, IL

The Station is happy to announce we will be headlining night one of the two day SOHO Music Festival in downtown Springfield on Friday June 3, 2011. What started 5 years ago as the little street festival that could has blossomed into one of the premier outdoor festivals in central Illinois. The full lineup will be announced shortly. The Station has been apart of the festival from the start and we're very excited to once again be performing. The newly formed Dave Littrell Band will also be performing an early evening slot on Saturday.
The Station will also be hosting a closing-night after party across the street from the festival at Marly's on Saturday June 4th. We will be welcoming our friends Spread to open the show at 10:30 pm. Tickets for the after party are only $5 at the door. This will be an exciting weekend to be in Springfield!

First of all, let me tell you guys how much we've missed performing this winter. This short break from traveling that we've been on this past six month has been quite a change for us, but I can't wait until we show you how productive we've been with new plans and new music. The amount of writing we've done lately can only be matched by depth of our evolution as a rock band. We are excited.
We will be making announcements in the coming weeks but for the time being I wanted to let you know we are gearing up to perform again in the midwest this spring while also returning to the studio. It's a very exciting time for all of us and we thank you for your patience as this winter has left us refreshed, retooled, and rejuvenated. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter so you'll hear first what we're up to. Also, our YouTube page has some recent videos of the debut of some new songs from last month. Just announced, The Station will be returning to the stage at Marly's in our hometown of Springfield, IL, Saturday December 18th. This will be our first electric show since September and we hope to be debuting some new tunes. We can't wait to see all of you again!
